I
was born and raised in Nebraska. I attended the Lincoln School of Commerce after graduation from high school. My career started as a bank teller in Neligh, Nebraska. Later, I was a secretary for the Department of Social Services and the Department of Roads before coming to (Kearney State College) UNK as the secretary for the History Department.
I worked part-time for history for awhile, later I was part-time History and part-time Criminal Justice before finally becoming full-time with the History Department. I have been with the History Department for over 30 years.
I am married, with two grown daughters who have graduated from UNK and a new granddaughter.
