Mrs. Bonnie Mumm - Administrative Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Business and Finance
Chancellor's comments: This is UNK's third year to honor outstanding contributions made by professional and support staff, as they assist us to carry out our mission to our students and to the citizens of Nebraska.
This year's honoree graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Business Education and has been a member of our staff since 1985. Her efficiency and professionalism have earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues, both on and off campus. She is known far and wide for her skillful juggling of multiple projects simultaneously and for her superb filing system that allows her to find any desired document within a few seconds. And, as president of the Staff Senate she demonstrated leadership skills that instilled a feeling of comradeship among the senate's members and that allowed the Staff Senate to be effective in attaining its goals. I take great pleasure in presenting the 2001 Staff Award for Excellence to the Administrative Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Business and Finance, Mrs. Bonnie Mumm.
