The May 2006 Employee of the Month is Brian Spradlin. Brian is the Web Presence Coordinator in the Office of Communications.
Brian is always willing to share his knowledge of web design. No problem is too small or too big for him to quickly and efficiently give a helping hand. With just a phone call, Brian is ready to make changes to the web at a minutes notice.
One UNK employee stated that a few years ago she was given a web project, but had no idea how to complete the assignment. Brian helped to guide her and developed a skill within her that is now a major part of her job. Even though they do not work in the same department, Brain willingly took the time and effort to help and showed a lot of patience throughout the project.
Brian led the UNK campus through a major website redesign last year. The training provided was excellent and the website now looks cohesive and professional. One can tell Brian enjoys what he does by his positive attitude and his professional interaction with others. He is greatly appreciated by his co-workers and those he assists on projects.
