The UNK Staff Senate Employee Recognition Committee announces Katherine Leibhart as the UNK Employee of the Month for February 2002.
Katherine Leibhart joined the Facilities Department at the University of Nebraska at Kearney in September 1998. Since that time, she has worked at various campus locations as an Interior Area Specialist.
The members of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics have nominated Kathy for Employee of the Month because she does an excellent job keeping their work area clean and neat. She is a very friendly, pleasant person who is open-minded, rational and objective. She always has a smile for everyone. Kathy's supervisor reports that she is willing to do more than her share of work, and when her tasks are complete, she asks if she can be of help to others. She puts no conditions on accepting people as they are. Kathy is willing to learn from others and is a valued member of the university staff.
Because she maintains very good customer relations, displays an excellent work ethic and is an asset to the campus, the University of Nebraska at Kearney is pleased to name Katherine Leibhart Employee of the Month for February 2002.
