A highly motivated employee, Bonnie Mumm demonstrates a well-developed sense of initiative and an admirable work ethic as she discharges effectively her many assignments as Administrative Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Business and Finance. Because Ms. Mumm always executes her varied responsibilities in an orderly fashion, her many skills in running this office are legendary on our campus. Whenever documents or information concerning university business and finance, budgets, campus facilities, public safety or personnel policies is needed, the first person asked is Bonnie Mumm. She unfailingly locates the requested materials with surprising speed and accuracy.
Recently, Bonnie's superb knowledge of the many business and finance functions of the University ensured the efficient transition between the retiring vice chancellor and his successor. Throughout this period, her splendid office management skills kept the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Business and Finance functioning at its accustomed high level of efficiency.
Beyond her regular duties, Bonnie Mumm accepted the responsibility to develop the "employee of the month" program at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She willingly assumed the responsibility for seeing that certificates were written and framed for each recipient.
Her pleasant personality creates a friendly ambiance in her office. She greets everyone warmly and responds readily to all requests for assistance. Since Bonnie Mumm disseminates information expeditiously and is helpful to all other university staff members, she serves as a positive role model and helps others to improve their own job productivity.
