Favorite thing about University of Nebraska-Kearney: My favorite thing about UNK would probably have to be Loper athletics. I’ve worked in the UNK Athletic Department and I can say that they do a great job with their sports teams. Going to an athletic event is always exciting and worth your time.
Hobbies and Interests: Sports, traveling, and going to the gym would definitely be my top three. In my spare time if I’m not at the gym you will usually find me doing something related to sports. I am also big into traveling to different states and cities within the U.S.
Favorite Super Hero: I would definitely have to say Batman. He has always been one of my favorite superheroes as a kid and continues to be.
Favorite place on campus: My favorite place on campus would probably have to be the Health & Sports Center and Foster Field. I love supporting Loper athletics whenever I have the chance.
Favorite place in Kearney: Definitely a tough choice, but I would probably have to go with the Viaero Center. I love going to root on the Tri City Storm hockey team as well as attend other events that they have going on.
Favorite restaurant in Kearney: There are so many options for a good restaurant in Kearney, but I would probably have to go with Fanatics. If you are looking for good pizza and wings, Fanatics is the place for you.
Why do you love UNK: I love UNK because of all the people I have met and all the friendships I have gained along the way. The faculty/staff are super helpful when you need anything.
Why do you love Kearney: I love the city of Kearney because of the strong community atmosphere. It also reminds me a lot of my hometown (Norfolk). The people who live here are very supportive of UNK.
