The Division of Business and Finance seeks to provide a safe and healthy learning, working, and living environment for the UNK community. The division emphasizes service to the University as it strives to be the premier institution for undergraduate learning in the state of Nebraska. The division's efforts to provide a positive learning environment span a broad spectrum of responsibilities that promote academic excellence, fiscal responsibility, and public accountability.
Within the division are the offices of Business Services, Budget, Facilities Management and Planning, Finance, Human Resources, Police and Parking Services as well as contracted providers Chartwells Food Service and Antelope Bookstore. Together the division's staff work to enhance the physical and technological infrastructure of the campus, to conserve university resources while delivering quality services expeditiously, and to create circumstances and conditions in which people can do their best work.
