Appointments – 30 minutes (1-3 pages) or 60 minutes (4-7 pages)
Hours of Operation – fall and spring semesters, 7 days a week; limited summer hours mid-May to late-July
Most consultations begin with a discussion of the assignment and the writer's concerns about the paper. Then, the consultant, writer, or both read the paper aloud, stopping periodically to discuss options, revisions, confusions. Depending on the length of the paper and/or the level of needed revision, they may or may not get through the entire paper in a single consultation. A writer may need to continue the process on her/his own and/or schedule another consultation.
When it comes time for your consultation, bring a description of your assignment, your paper thus far, and a list of concerns or questions, see below.
