Spring 2010 — Daily hours here

  • Free, friendly, face to face and online assistance with all writing projects at any point in the writing process.
  • Appointments of 30 to 60 minutes recommended and available Jan 19 through May 6.
  • Sentenceworks Pilot— The WC is piloting a newly released technology called Sentenceworks.  This automated tool assists writers with over 100 grammar and punctuation rules.  Anyone with a UNK or UNMC email address is pre-authorized to use Sentenceworks at no charge until May 2010.  Learn more here
  • Late Policy—If you are 10 or more minutes late to your appointment and someone else is waiting to meet with a consultant, you forfeit your appointment and earn one no-show.
  • Three Strikes, You're Out—Three no-shows in a single semester will block you from making appointments; you will have to rely on walk-in availability.
