Sara Curran Ice

Biography

Sara Ice holds an MFA in Costume Design from the University of California, Irvine.  This is her eighth year at the University of Nebraska Kearney where she teaches courses such as Introduction to Costume Technology, Costume Design, Stage Makeup, and Why We Wear Clothes: The History of European Dress.  Sara also designs costumes for mainstage productions, mentors student costume designers, and manages the University Theatre costume shop.  Prior to coming to UNK she spent several years as a freelance costumer for film, television, and theatre. Sara is a member of IATSE Local 705, the Motion Picture Costumers Union in Los Angeles.
