Welcome to the University of Nebraska at Kearney Army ROTC

Army ROTC is one of the best leadership courses in the country and produces 75% of all Army officers - prestigious professionals who serve as the leaders and managers of this nation's armed forces. It is designed as a college elective, which you can try out for up to two years with no obligation. The program provides you with a wide range of experiences as you work towards your degree, combining military science classes with hands-on leadership experience - skills that are sure to give you an edge over your peers in the job market.

Students in the University of Nebraska - Kearney Army ROTC program attend military science classes and leadership training labs focusing on leadership development, problem solving techniques, management, planning and organization, professional ethics and responsibilities, and military skills and training. At the completion of the program, students are commissioned as Second Lieutenants in the U.S. Army.

The Army ROTC program at the University of Nebraska - Kearney is looking for quality students, athletes, and leaders capable of leading America's Army. In order to do so, we stress the importance of living the Army Values. These seven core values are LOYALTY, DUTY, RESPECT, SELFLESS SERVICE, HONOR, INTEGRITY, and PERSONAL COURAGE.
