Employer Information

Engineer the future of your company.

When you provide an internship to a bright, young student in the engineering foundations program, you are working to build a better future for engineering in central-western Nebraska while providing a valuable educational experience for a intelligent, motivated future engineer.

According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers, internships create lasting connections between students and the region they intern in; more than 50% of interns become full-time employees at their place of internship.

Though students recognize that employment isn’t guaranteed at the end of an internship, they do know that many employers use internships as a way to train and evaluate future employees. This motivates students to succeed, while it motivates employers to provide a valuable learning experience for the individuals who will become the future of their company.
