If you’re headed to college next year, or in the next few years, this camp provides practical help on how to thrive in your new world. While many of your peers will be concerned about the campus party scene or the choice of which fraternity or sorority to join, they may fail to consider that studying, writing, and learning in college may be dramatically different than in high school. Not you. In this camp, you will learn specific tips, strategies and principles to help you recognize that success doesn’t just happen, and what you did in high school may not work in college. Topics include: • Am I actually expected to do all of this reading? • Taking notes • College writing basics • Scheduling your time to avoid cramming • How to actually study • Building relationships with professors • Getting involved on campus • Balancing school work and enjoying college life. Don’t just make it through college—win at college!
