Department of Marketing & MIS Mission Statement

The primary mission of the Department of Marketing & MIS (Management Information Systems) of the College of Business & Technology is to provide students with high-quality undergraduate instruction leading to baccalaureate degrees in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, Management Information Systems, or Supply Chain Management, or a minor in Management/Marketing, Business Intelligence and Business Analytics, International Business, Management Information Systems, MIS Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain Management.  The department's courses and programs are also designed to provide components for the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program and other undergraduate and graduate programs. Department programs are designed for, and the faculty are committed to preparing students to function effectively as contributing members of business communities, public, professional, and service organizations. Continual improvement of teaching, scholarly activities, and service is integral to the department's mission.
