Who is allowed to use government documents?

 

  • The federal and Nebraska document collections are open to the public.   
    • Anyone may use the government document collections: You don't need to be a University student, faculty member, or staff person. 

       
  • Anyone may check materials out of the library. 
    • If you are not affiliated with UNK, a community user's card can be obtained at the circulation desk.

       
     
  • Government documents may be checked out for four weeks.  Documents reference collection titles don't check out.  Document periodicals (orange label) check out for one week.

     
  • New government documents can be found by using the Library's online catalog.  Selected older titles are also in the online catalog.
