The Library has recently acquired the Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals for the UNK community. This electronic index can be accessed in the "Humanities Indexes" located in the "Find Articles" section on the Library’s main page (http://library.unk.edu).
The Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals contains citations to over 600,000 articles from scholarly, popular, and professional association journals. The indexed article citations date from 1741 through the present. Subject areas covered by the Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals include:
Architecture, Interior Design, Historic Preservation, Urban Design, and Urban Planning
Although there are no full-text articles in the Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals each citation has an "Article Linker" option. Clicking on this link will launch a search for the cited article in all full-text journals available to the UNK community. When an article is available in full-text in a different database the "Article Linker" will provide a link to that source. Articles not found online in full-text, or in the Library’s print periodical collection, may be ordered through Interlibrary Loan.
