Earlier this year, the Library moved from Business and Company ASAP to Business Source Premier as its
primary workhorse index to the literature of the business-related disciplines. For about 20% more in cost
each year, we were able to expand your access to the business literature by a much larger factor, and
greatly increase the amount of full-text coverage we provide.
Business Source Premier is designed specifically for business schools and libraries, and provides full text
from more than 7,400 business journals (over 1,100 of which are peer-reviewed) and periodicals covering
management, economics, finance, accounting, international business, labor relations, human resources,
and other business-related areas. Business Source Premier contains full text from the world's top business
journals, including Harvard Business Review and California Management Review, and is particularly strong
in both management and marketing. The database contains indexing and abstracting backfiles for 300 top
scholarly business journals dating back to 1965, or the first issue published, whichever is more recent.
More than 200 of these journals have PDF full text representation back to 1965, effectively supplementing
JSTOR's full-text historical business periodical files.
Business Source Premier also includes 5,000 substantial company profiles and 1,600 industry reports from
Datamonitor. Additional full text,non-journal content includes market research reports, industry reports,
country reports, and SWOT analyses. Business Source Premier shares searching conventions and screen
appearance with its sister database,Academic Search Premier, which is the Library's most heavily used
general periodical index database.
To access Business Source Premier, go to:http://library.unk.edu/ the library's homepage, and select "Find
