The Honors Student Advisory Board (HSAB) works together with the Honors Director and Associate Director to ensure that the needs of Honors students are being met. HSAB also plans and coordinates many of the social activities for the Honors Program as a whole. All students in the Program are invited to a variety of social activities that take place each month. HSAB also plans and coordinates a variety of community service projects, two of which are in conjunction with area elementary schools: Math Madness Day, for area third-graders, and Reading Rendezvous for various age levels.
Currently, the HSAB meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month at 5:15 in the lower level lounge of Men's Hall. Any Honors Program member is welcome to attend at any time, and to participate in the planning and coordination of the events HSAB sponsors.
Any Honors student in good standing with the Program (holding at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average) may apply for membership on the HSAB. Below is a brief application form.
