The Health Science Programs Office at UNK provides assistance to students in numerous ways. The primary service offered is academic advising, which assists students in choosing the best courses to provide the appropriate academic background for the particular health science program the student has chosen. Through advising, students may also receive assistance in selecting the career that best suits the individual’s interests and abilities.
Assistance with the application process is available as well. In addition to advising, the Health Science Programs Office also provides up-to-date information about health professions, professional schools, and clinical programs. The Office sponsors a variety of speakers, workshops, meetings, clubs, and other activities for the students.
