Q. I know that "pre" programs are not majors. If Peggy or Liz are my advisor, do I also have an advisor for my major? If I am in the Honors Program, do I also have a Honors advisor?
A. If you have declared a major, you will also have a major advisor assigned to you. If you are in the Honors program, you will also have an Honors advisor. If you have specific questions regarding your major, we encourage you to ask your major advisor to address those questions.
Q. I have questions about my class schedule, how do I contact Peggy or Liz?
A. Email is probably the best way to contact Peggy or Liz throughout the summer months. You can also contact Peggy or Liz by calling the Office of Health Science Programs at 308-865-8260.

Elizabeth Stout: stoutea@unk.edu
Q. I have taken dual credit courses or Advanced Placement credit that I would like to transfer to UNK. How do I do that?
It is the student's responsibility to report any courses not taken at UNK to their advisor!
A. First, make sure you tell your advisor that you have college credits you are planning to transfer to UNK. Next, be sure to tell your advisor the names of the courses that you have taken and are planning to transfer. Finally, make sure you have an official transcript sent to the Office of Student Records & Registration at UNK. If you have further questions about transfer credit, you can contact them at unkregistrar@unk.edu or 308-865-8527.
