Voluntary Participation and Withdrawal
Research subjects have the right to know that their participation in a study is voluntary, and they may withdraw at any time.
This section of the consent form must contain the following standard IRB non-coercive statement:
You are free to decide not to participate in this study orto withdraw at any time without adversely affecting your relationship with the investigator(s) or the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Your decision regarding whether or not to participate in this study will not result in any loss of benefits to which you are otherwise entitled.
You should include the names of other institutions if involved in the research in the statement
