FAQ

What is the procedure for completing the CITI training?

  1. Access the CITI training from the UNK IRB Web site.  
  2. Click on the link “Register for CITI course.”  
  3. Select the “University of Nebraska at Kearney” in the “All Others” drop-down box.  
  4. Create your own user name and password.  
  5. Select the learner group appropriate to your research.  
  6. Click on “Basic Course” to access the required modules.  
  7. Complete each of the required modules including the quiz at the end of each module.  Completing each module opens the subsequent module.  
  8. You can log in and out as often as you wish, and you can retake the modules as often as you need to pass the training.  
  9. Access to the optional modules by scrolling to that part of the screen within your learner group.  
  10. Access modules from another learner group by clicking “change group.”
