A blend of Physical and Human Geography, and geographic techniques. Same as the Bachelor of Arts, except that the foreign language component is replaced with courses of a scientific nature. Also an outstanding liberal arts degree!

Bachelor of Science (BS) - Geography and GIScience Major
A blend of Physical and Human Geography that includes an emphasis in Geographic Information Science. GIScience is the science behind the geographic information technologies of cartography, Geographic Information Systems, remote sensing, and the Global Positioning System. This major is ideal for students seeking employment in technologically driven geographic fields. An excellent way to open the door to your future!

Environmental Science Minor
The Environmental Science Minor is an interdisciplinary minor taught by Geography, Biology, and Chemistry. It provides a scientific foundation which will support majors in the many disciplines which relate to the Earth’s natural environment, including the natural sciences, social sciences, business, and education. It may be combined with any of the Geography baccalaureate Majors.
