Early Childhood Inclusive Program

Student reading to young child

UNK is very proud of the Early Childhood Inclusive program - a unique, high-quality, convenient program for people interested in working with our very youngest population.

The Early Childhood Inclusive bachelor's program empowers students to earn a degree entirely online. This program is designed as a degree-completion program, and is for those who already are teachers in Head Start or Early Head Start, who work as paraprofessionals, in-service or assistant teachers, or students in community college programs or nontraditional students. It is perfect for those wanting to complete a four-year degree online, without the requirement of face-to-face instruction.

Graduates will be able to teach children ages 0-5 in special education settings, and ages 0-8 in regular education settings. For those already with a bachelor's degree, Initial Certification or Additional Endorsement program options are also available.

A highly-sought-after and acclaimed program, the ECI online program builds on UNK faculty expertise in research and teaching children 0-8. You will receive personal mentoring and support throughout your online program and emerge from it ready to enhance your career in early childhood education.
