eCampus provides a new desktop videoconferencing service for Faculty teaching online called Wimba since Fall 2008. Wimba is a webconferencing program allowing asynchronous and synchronous communication between faculty and students via the Internet. Faculty will be able to hold synchronous virtual classes, archive virtual classes, share computer applications, interact with students in various ways, and share computer applications.
