Nebraska teachers are required to complete Introduction to Exceptionalities or equivalent at either the undergraduate (TESE 421) or graduate (TESE 821P) level, if they have not already met this 3 credit hour special education requirement.

The Master of Arts in Education: Special Education – Gifted Education degree is designed for teachers who currently hold an undergraduate degree in education and would like to further their education. It is also designed to prepare educators with the knowledge base and competencies necessary for the appropriate education of gifted and talented learners.
