The MAE in Physical Education Master Teacher is a 36-credit-hour online program designed for teachers who need a broad understanding of pedagogical practices and a greater skillfulness in the delivery of instruction, including the ability to gather and use data to assess student learning and revise or design curriculum. 

Teachers have the option of choosing two tracks:

1) The Pedagogy Emphasis provides graduates with advanced knowledge and competence in the teaching of physical education in elementary to post-secondary school settings.

2) The Special Population Emphasis provides graduates with advanced knowledge and competence in providing physical education to students with disabilities and leads to the endorsement in Adapted Physical Education issued by the Nebraska Department of Education.
