The Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance offers its graduate music program to serve three main purposes: 1. Provide music courses for teachers who seek a Master of Arts in Education—Music Education degree program; 2. Make available a variety of courses for those students who do not wish to pursue an advanced degree; and 3. Provide experiences for graduate students which will serve their cultural and professional needs. This degree does not grant certification to teach music in K-12 schools.
