UNK is no longer supplying McAfee Anti-Virus software free to students. Anyone who currently has McAfee installed on their computer will need to unistall it, and find suitable Anti-virus replacement. Check the ITS website for sugested free and paid Anti-virus programs http://www.unk.edu/offices/ITS/Help_Desk/Anti-virus/Antivirus-_FAQ/ .
For Login instructions, refer to the attached sheet. If you log on to Blackboard and you get the message, "Student is not registered," it is possible that the instructor has not made the course available to students yet. To check if you are registered, go to My Blue and click on "Student Center.” It is the big red button at the top of page. You will then see your enrolled courses. If you are registered for the course, check back in a few days. If the course is not available on the specified start date, please contact your instructor.

SmarterMeasure is a tool that helps you identify your level of readiness for online learning. It measures several areas, including learning style, technical competency, and typing speed and accuracy. When the process is complete, SmarterMeasure will show you the results and also provide you with a list of resources that may assist you with online learning. To take SmarterMeasure:
1. go to http://unk.readi.info
2. type in the username
3. type in the password
4. you will be asked to provide some information about yourself. This information is only used to allow you to save and return later.
