The online Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice is a degree completion program designed for students who may already have earned an associate's degree or who have completed the majority of their general education courses. This online program combines courses from the Kearney, Omaha, and Lincoln campuses, providing you with the best academic experience possible. Courses reflect current trends in justice, and faculty have both practitioner and research expertise. A highlight of the degree program is the intensive internship that will provide hands-on experience in the field. The internship is completed at a location convenient to the student. Past placements have included the Nebraska State Patrol and National Security Agency. The criminal justice field is experiencing sustained growth. Students have dozens of career paths to choose from, working in law enforcement, corrections, the courts, victims of crime, and with juvenile and special offender populations.
