Blackboard has an app! If you have an eligible smartphone, you now have the ability to access and update much of your course content from your mobile device using the Blackboard Mobile™ Learn application.
Blackboard Mobile Learn is available on the following:
• Android™ devices
• BlackBerry® smartphone devices
• HP web OS devices
• iPhone®, iPod Touch®, and iPad™
To download and start using Blackboard Mobile Learn:
1) Search for “Blackboard Mobile Learn” in your App Store
2) Install the App
3) Search and Select University of Nebraska Kearney
4) Log in using the same username and password you normally use to access Blackboard at UNK
Blackboard Mobile Learn gives you access to your course Announcements, Assignments, Handouts, Discussions, Blogs and Journals on the go. Additionally, you can update your announcements, create blog and discussion posts, and comment on your students’ blogs, discussions, and journals from your mobile device!
Flash videos are not compatible with the Blackboard Mobile App and will need to be played on your desktop/laptop computer.
FACULTY NOTE: Blackboard Mobile is setup mainly for student access. Faculty do not have access to the Control Panel when using Blackboard Mobile and will not be able to enter grades into the Grade Center. If faculty wish to enter grades, you should use your web browser to login to Blackboard on your smartphone or tablet.
