Mission Statement

The mission of the UNK's Center for Teaching Excellence is...

to assist faculty, programs, and departments to enhance teaching in individual courses and across the curriculum.
to serve as a clearinghouse of information about activities, events, resources, and projects that may enhance teaching and learning.
to develop synergistic relationships with campus units to promote teaching and learning across the institution.
to provide interdisciplinary faculty fora designed to promote reflection on teaching, collaboration, and mentoring across departments and colleges.
to recognize and support excellence in teaching through awards and faculty development stipends.
