Well-equipped laboratories are located centrally on campus and close to faculty offices in the Otto Olsen building. The hardware configuration covers a broad spectrum of devices including personal and main-frame computers, as well as specialized workstations and handheld computers.
CSIS also houses the UNK Digital Media Lab.
A specialized teaching lab exists for CSIS students, as does a Special Projects lab for collaborative work between faculty and students. Operating environments include Windows, Linux, MVS, the Internet, plus a variety of local and campus networks. The Special Projects lab houses our robotics lab (shown below), our network administration lab, as well as our network gaming programming lab.
