Background     
I received my degrees from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. The communication field is changing at an unbelievable rate, with all media interacting with other media and converging into new technologies. Communication students need to understand the use of the World Wide Web and all the new technologies that are developing.
Philosophy     
I believe that every single student is capable of succeeding. While it would be naive of me to say that every student who walks into my classroom operates at the same level, it is not naive to believe that every student, if given the opportunity, is capable of adding something valuable to the intellectual atmosphere in my classes. Every single student has something to contribute. It is up to me to provide the forum where that contribution can be heard or seen; it is up to the student to make that contribution.
