The Center for Rural Research and Development (CRRD) is the UNK’s Entrepreneurship Center. The center focuses on outreach efforts, offering a portfolio of innovative programs and initiatives for various constituencies. These programs are organized into three areas: university, community, and global partnerships.

The Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC). The NBDC is a cooperative program of the U.S. Small Business Administration, the College of Business Administration of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and the College of Business and Technology at the University of Nebraska Kearney. Statewide, NBDC provides direct management and technical assistance to more than 2,000 businesses in Nebraska each year. Basic services are provided free of charge.

The Nebraska Safety Center . The Nebraska Safety Center provides instruction in safety education, service through seminars and workshops, coordination of statewide programs, and research in safety education. These purposes and functions of the Nebraska Safety Center are addressed through five areas outlined in the legislation. These five areas are: Traffic, Industrial. Home, Fire and Recreational Safety.
