Supplemental Instruction (SI) is an international program that provides peer-facilitated academic support outside of the
regular classroom through the use of collaborative learning techniques.
SI Leaders plan and lead three hours of SI sessions each week in direct partnership with the SI course instructor. These sessions are
designed to help students verbalize, think about, and apply course concepts and reinforce study strategies which work best for that particular subject.
To learn more about SI, please visit the official SI website: http://www.umkc.edu/asm/si/index.shtml.
