Since the Assessment of the Masters in Education Degree Program (French, German, Spanish Specialization) is closely linked to the Comprehensive Examination of these students and none of them have taken this exam since the Graduate Assessment Plan was accepted in Spring 2003, we have not been able to assess any of the areas yet.
Two to three Spanish Specialization students, however, are planning to complete their course work and to take their Comprehensive Examination in Summer 2004. At that time we can assess these students for all six of the objectives (a-f) listed in the Graduate Assessment Plan. The sample will necessarily be small, like the program itself, but the information acquired may be helpful.
