Comprehensive Exams - All students are required to successfully complete comprehensive exams during the final semester of their program. The comprehensive exam is based on the learning objectives. Multiple evaluators assess the student using the Comprehensive Exam Assessment Form.

Interpretation and Recommendations:
The results indicate that students are successfully completing comprehensive examinations and that the "standardized" assessment rubric is useful in this evaluation process. There is a need to refine this rubric to more accurately reflect the quality of the response. Also, the rubric for school and community counseling need to be similar. There is on-going support from the Department to continue to use this item.
