Direct Measures
In the comprehensive examination, students will:
- Self assess the depth and breadth of growth with regard to each of the 10 Desired Outcomes for Graduates
- Demonstrate the ability to apply key concepts relating to democracy, diversity, and technology to a P-12 classroom setting. Application will include making connections to the classroom curriculum, instructional methods, classroom environment, and meeting the needs of all learners.
Indirect Measures
Survey instruments are administered that assess each of the four programs alumni's perceptions of their accomplishment of the programs objectives using a Likert-type scale
Local school administrators, teachers, members of professional groups, and other advisor groups, a group we collectively refer to as our "critical friends," are also administered a similar Likert-type survey.
