Accounting/Finance Assessment Definitions for Direct Measures

The starting point for assessment anchors is Benjamin Bloom's taxonomy. We plan to use these as benchmarks.

  1. Exemplary - The student meets the requirements for "good" and also is able to function at the levels of synthesis and evaluation relative to the course content and integration across multiple domains.

  2. Good - The student meets the requirements for "satisfactory" and also is able to function at the levels of application and analysis relative to course content.

  3. Satisfactory - The student is able to function at the levels of knowledge and comprehension relative to the course content.

  4. Needs improvement - the performance is inadequate. The student is unable to function at the levels of knowledge and comprehension relative to course content.
