Management Information Systems Assessment Mission

Upon graduation, management information systems emphasis students should be able to:

  1. Demonstrate basic systems development life cycle knowledge and vocabulary.
  2. Use project planning and systems development methods.
  3. Use appropriate software development tools.
  4. Work effectively on a project team.
  5. Accomplish a realistic systems project.
  6. Make written and oral presentations appropriate to the project.
  7. Use computer technology in accomplishing all other objectives.
