Student Assessment Committee Meeting
Meeting of April 22nd, 2009
Present: Jessy Hansen, April Becker, Abigail Harris, Russell Crawford
Absent: NA
Hansen called the meeting to order at 10:00 am in Founders Hall 2113.
Old Business:
- The committee discussed how to share the continued data analysis with staff. The committee decided to post results on the assessment website and to send an announcement to all faculties sharing that the results are available. Hansen shared the updated data analysis information with the committee.
- Harris has accepted the Chair position for the 2009-2010 academic year. Harris will take over the committee in the Fall 2009.
- Dr. Butler has sent emails to the college deans to recruit new members for the committee. Harris will follow up on these emails upon the start of the Fall semester to set up the first meeting.
- The committee discussed possible ideas for Fall 09 research. The committee discussed interest in learning about cheating on the campus and how it is related to a student’s major.
Due to the end of the semester, no meeting was scheduled.
