Student Assessment Committee Meeting
Meeting of March 4th, 2009
Present: Jessy Hansen, April Becker, Abigail Harris, Russell Crawford
Absent: NA
Hansen called the meeting to order at 10:00 am in Founders Hall 2113.
Old Business:
- The committee finalized the power point presentation for the Faculty Senate Meeting on Thursday March 5th and the PUI conference on Friday March 6th. The committee members decided who was going to speak at what parts of the presentation.
- The committee also finalized the poster presentation for the PUI conference on Friday March 6th.
New Business:
- The committee discussed creating a literature review for the study of Instructional Preferences. The committee decided to discuss this option at the next meeting. The committee hopes to write an article that could be published.
- Hansen shared with the committee that she had submitted registration for the Student Research Day to present the Instructional Preferences poster. Research Day is on March 25th. Crawford volunteered to present the poster.
The next meeting is set for Wednesday, April 1st, 2009 in Founders Hall 2113.
