Center for Teaching and Learning

Dr. Saunders will discuss the challenges facing instructors of large classes. He will include resources for instructors and ideas for setting learner expectations.
The presentation will also include:

  • Getting learners to share responsibilities
  • Shrinking impersonal space
  • Motivating learners through their learning styles
  • Engaging learners through assessment activities
  • Reducing lecture time while promoting deep learning
