Meeting of February 28, 2007
Minutes

PRESENT: Students: Adam Sevenker, Heath Dooley, Megan Boss, and Bethany Hyatt
Faculty: Sarah Von Schrader
ABSENT: Students: Caitlin Babbitt, Tiffany Sherwood, Russell Crawford, and Clarissa Owens

Bethany called the meeting to order at 4:00 P.M. in Room 2111 of Founders Hall.

1. OLD BUSINESS
   
   1. The committee was presented with a rough draft of a survey of student involvement compiled by Marty Demoret. The committee was also given other surveys that addressed the purpose of evaluating student involvement and engagement. The committee reviewed all of the materials and decided to use the survey presented by Demoret with some changes. The committee discussed changes that would need to be made to the survey. Bethany Hyatt said that she would enter the survey into Opinio with the changes and send the survey out to the members before the next meeting.
      
2. NEW BUSINESS
   2. Members were asked to look at their schedules to determine if they could help with the Platte Valley Assessment Conference April 20th. They were also asked to volunteer to attend the student discussion portion of the General Studies Academic Program Review. Heath Dooley and Megan Boss said that they would be available to participate in this.
