PRESENT: Students: Adam Sevenker, Russell Crawford, Megan Boss, and Bethany Hyatt

ABSENT: Students: Caitlin Babbitt, Tiffany Sherwood, and Clarissa Owens
Bethany called the meeting to order at 4:00 P.M. in Room 2111 of Founders Hall.
- OLD BUSINESS
- Ideas for the next project by the student assessment committee were discussed. Marty Demoret and Bethany Hyatt dispersed surveys of student involvement and student engagement to promote the discussion. The committee discussed the evidence that one way in which student involvement affects both the students and the University is through retention. Discussion followed as to how we could assess retention. It was decided that one way that the committee could attempt to evaluate this was to compare involvement with satisfaction. Demoret stated that he would work on creating a rough draft of a survey for the committee to use. Hyatt said she would also work on some ideas for this.
