Direct Measures
All graduates in the Department of Industrial Technology complete a "senior seminar" course culminating in a capstone project. This project incorporates the majority of the concepts learned in previous courses giving the student the opportunity to demonstrate the ability to synthesize and evaluate information. Capstone projects will be evaluated for evidence of specific student learning outcomes relating to knowledge, skills and values. This evaluation will be performed by a team of one department faculty (other than the seminar course instructor) and one industry representative using the "Capstone Project Evaluation" rubric.
