Minutes of the Meeting of the Deans Council
Thursday, April 24, 2008 – 9 a.m.

PRESENT: William Jurma, Kenya Taylor, Janet Wilke, Ed Scantling, Frank Harrold, Peter Longo, Bruce Forster
ABSENT: Finnie Murray
GUESTS: Jeanne Butler, Gloria Vavricka
- Kenya Taylor, Gloria Vavricka and Jeanne Butler Re NCA updates for upcoming NCA visit: Kenya, Gloria and Jeanne brought the Deans up to speed the upcoming NCA visit. Gloria then took the group on a tour of the new campus training lab.
- A training initiative from the Emergency Operations Team: Frank shared that the Emergency Operation Team has ask him to see if the Deans could help verify that all faculty and staff see the videos “Shots Fired” and Flu Pandemic. Discussion was held on possibly having them viewed at the faculty retreats and another suggestion was to put the videos on-line. The Deans agreed they would make sure everyone sees the videos.
There being no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned. The next meeting of the Deans will be on Friday, May 2, 2008 at 9 a.m., Warner Conference Room.
