Schedule Finalized for NCA Focused Visit

The Office of Assessment is making final preparations for the visit from the review team of the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association (NCA).

On April 28-29, Dr. Neil Hattlestad, Dean of the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences at University of Central Arkansas; Dr. Susan Rickey Hatfield, Assessment Coordinator at Winona State University; and Dr. Tom J. Seymour, Professor of MIS and Telecommunications Consultant at Minot State University will be on campus to review the accreditation request from eCampus and to evaluate the progress made in assessing student learning in nine key areas.

The review team's schedule has been posted on the Assessment website.

Vendors Demonstrate Software for NeSIS Project Team

Student Information System software vendors Oracle and SunGard were invited to demonstrate their products to a group of personnel from the University of Nebraska and the State College campuses. The group has been meeting this week in Kearney to continue working toward the selection of a new system for the Nebraska institutions.
