Pathways of Knowledge
How do you absorb an entire universe of intellectual achievement?
The world is an amazingly interconnected place. And the only way to make sense of it is to study it in parts, so you can shed more light on the individual strands that connect the whole.
This is why undergraduate education at UNK comes channeled through four different colleges: the College of Fine Arts and Humanities, the College of Natural and Social Sciences, the College of Business and Technology, and the College of Education.
While all four colleges are characterized by boldness, breadth, depth, and flexibility in the programs they offer, each is governed relatively independently. Faculty members within each college determine their own programs, special admission requirements, and degree requirements.
There are many ways to make our world a better place.
The majority of liberal arts majors available at UNK are offered through the College of Fine Arts and Humanities and the College of Natural and Social Sciences while most of the professional degree programs are offered through the College of Business and Technology and the College of Education. In addition, UNK's General Studies Program is a requirement that connects UNK students of all four colleges and allows them to build a solid foundation in the liberal arts, irrespective of their specific fields of interest.
At UNK, we know that yours is one of them.
If you’re ready to choose your own path in order to make sense of the world, apply to UNK today. Or schedule a campus visit to explore some more.
